As many of us, I have faced some difficult struggles in the past. Thanks be to God for his comforting Scripture and a Savior who is my close friend! My favorite Bible verse is Romans 5:3-5:
We also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.

Alice has joined our children’s ministry program this year with such a fire for GOD! We are so excited to have her in our ministry! She is married to Micheal Boutte and they have three daughters. For 27 years, she has been an elementary school teacher. Being able to teach children about Jesus is a blessing ! When I look at children I see God’s love for all of us. One of my favorite Bible references to the love Jesus has for the children is Matthew 10: 13-16. The Little Children and Jesus

13 People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” 16 And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands in them and blessed them.
